What is a recruitment fraud scheme?

A recruitment fraud scheme is an online recruiting scam in which the scammer fraudulently uses a company’s name and logo, in addition to the names of the company’s team members, to obtain sensitive information from job seekers, including, but not limited to, social security numbers and bank account or credit card information. These schemes are often elaborate, conducting fake interviews and providing false documentation in an effort to exploit the security and privacy of job seekers.

• After you submit an application to Cariloop, you will receive a confirmation email from our People Team.
• Upon review of your application, should the team invite you to move forward, our communication is primarily through email with the sender address ending in “@cariloop.com.”
• Our interview process is held virtually on video via Zoom and all written offer letters are signed through DocuSign. We do not conduct interviews nor request personal information through texting messaging applications, such as Telegram.
• Lastly, we will never ask for payment of any kind for items such as equipment, travel or technology.
